To get the most out of this speed, you need a computer with a 10 Gbps electrical port or a 10 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 adapter and a category 6 or higher ethernet cable. If you don't have a computer with a 10 Gbps port, you can use one with a 5 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps port or, at the same time, several devices with 1 Gbps ports each. You can also use devices that allow connections via Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 Triband.

This fibre allows a maximum useful speed of up to 8Gbps symmetrically, with the remainder intended to guarantee a high level of stability and access performance.


The Fiber X and Fiber X7 routers enable instant downloads, uninterrupted teleworking, high-resolution streaming and latency-free gaming.

The Fiber X router offers Wi-Fi 6 and the Fiber X7 router offers Wi-Fi 7 Triband. Both have 10 Gbps technology. The 10 Gbps LAN port is auto-sense, allowing you to connect devices with 1, 2.5, 5 or 10 GbE Ethernet ports.

Fiber X is only compatible with the MEO Smart WiFi 6 Extender. Fiber X7 is compatible with MEO Smart WiFi 6 and 7 Extenders.

Wi-Fi 7 is the latest innovation in wireless technologies and is available in the Fiber X7 router. This technology brings with it a TV show improvements over previous standards.

An important innovation is the availability of the 6GHz band. This frequency band available on the Fiber X7 router offers a new dimension of speed and performance for your Wi-Fi network, in addition to greater bandwidth, lower interference, super-low latency and support for a greater number of simultaneously connected devices.
