Calls and texts

The Calls and texts usage limit apply in Portugal and roaming communications to/from zone 1 countries (European Union, United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein) are deducted from the national Voice cap and text . Once the limit has been used up, voice communications will cost €0.163 per minute and texts sent will be charged at extra monthly fee.

Mobile Data

Internet traffic is charged in 10kB blocks.

Whenever you reach 80% and 100% of your internet allowance (+ net and plan base), you will receive a text alert. To find out how much internet you have available, dial *#123# or check your customer area. Once the monthly allotment has been used up, traffic will be blocked. To continue surfing, activate more net by dialing #136# following the call key or contact your manager.

The Mobile Internet cap applies in Portugal and when roaming in the Economic Area, and is subject to a policy of responsible use (PUR) of 50GB for M Móvel 100GB, M Móvel 200GB and 100GB for Unlimited. You will be notified by text when you have reached 80% and 100% of the PUR data volume. Once this PUR is exhausted, the traffic consumed is increased by €0.0013/MB. More information on calculation.

MEO reserves the right to charge a surcharge for traffic roaming in the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland, in accordance with the rules of the Acceptable Use Policy applied in these countries or by calling 12083 (free call).

The Monthly Fees shown are subject to a minimum contractual period of 24 months, involve signing up to the Electronic Invoice and include a discount of €0.81 on the monthly fee for as long as it remains active and are free when the card is activated. In the option without loyalty, the card activation fee is €48.78.

For security reasons, the cards are subject to a limit starting at €75/month on communications not included in extra monthly feeThis amount may be changed.
