Monitor outdoor air quality and noise, with actions to achieve the sustainable development of communities and the preservation of the environment.

Environmental monitoring

Better environment, better quality of life

Environmental monitoring makes it possible to monitor outdoor air quality and noise, enabling effective action to be taken to achieve sustainable development of communities and the preservation of the environment.

Measurements are carried out in accordance with the methodologies defined in the European directives, guaranteeing the quality of the data collected by calibrating the sensors throughout the period of use.

Hospitality and Tourism

  • Disclose noise figures and air quality history to customers, on promotional websites;
  • Giving tourists with respiratory health problems or sensitive to high noise levels the opportunity to choose where to stay;
  • To help decide whether to invest in indoor/outdoor device to improve soundproofing levels, in order to provide maximum comfort for customers.

Schools

  • Promote environmental education by including this topic in the education program, measuring and communicating air quality and noise to students to prevent respiratory diseases, among others.
  • Encourage and motivate students to be environmentally aware from an early age, so that they can share the importance of air quality and noise with their families;
  • Provide information to municipalities/school boards so that they can invest in improving indoor/outdoor soundproofing to provide maximum comfort for students;

Industry

  • Evaluate environmental working conditions and additional measures if necessary;
  • Evaluate areas surrounding industrial facilities in order to take measures to improve air quality, if necessary;
  • Evaluating the quality of the air inside the facilities, for greater employee health and safety.

Municipalities and Smart Cities

  • Measure and evaluate the effect of the measures taken by the municipalities;
  • Publish real-time or historical air quality and noise figures to raise public awareness;
  • Reward communities for reducing air pollution and noise in schools, industrial parks and residential areas;
  • Helping to decide on public investments in ports, airports, public transport, industries, etc;
  • Set parking prices and dynamic traffic rules, based on current pollution;
  • Control and warn about exhaust fumes from public garages and noise in bars and restaurants at night;
  • Recommend the best routes in the city for jogging, cycling, or other livre activities.
