  • Storage: 1 GB = 1 billion bytes and 1 TB = 1 trillion bytes. The actual formatted capacity is lower.

  • Scratch resistance: Ceramic Shield 2 with triple the scratch resistance compared to the previous generation iPhone.

  • Screen size: the screen has rounded corners. Measured as a rectangle diagonally, the screen is 6.86 inches (iPhone 17 Pro Max), 6.55 inches (iPhone Air), 6.27 inches (iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro) or 6.06 inches (iPhone 16e). The actual viewing area is smaller.

  • SOS satellite emergency: the service is free for two years with the activation of any iPhone model 14 or later. Connection and response times may vary depending on location, conditions and other factors. For more information, see supportapple.com/en/105097.

  • Accident detection: iPhone 14 and later detect serious car accidents and call the emergency services. Requires a mobile network connection or activation of Wi-Fi Calling.

  • USB transfer speeds: 20 times faster transfers on iPhone 17 Pro models with USB 3 compared to models with USB 2. Requires a USB 3 cable with a speed of 10 Gb/s.

  • Packaging with 100% fiber-based material: based on the packaging of products shipped by Apple. Considering the weight of packaging sold in the USA. Adhesives, inks and coatings are not included in the calculations of plastic content and packaging weight.

  • Switching from an Android phone: download the Migrate to iOS app from Google Play.
