    If you've switched to MEO but want to keep your current number, we'll take care of everything simply, quickly and free of charge, keeping you informed of every step of the process.

    Delivery of documents

    If you have chosen to receive your subscription documents digitally, you will receive a text with a link to submit your documents.
    If you haven't done so, you should hand in a copy of your Citizen's Card and the completed portability request.
    You can do this at any MEO store, by email or by post. You will receive information by text until the process is complete.

    Conclusion

    You will be notified by text when the request has been made to your home operator. When it is accepted, you will receive a text with the day and time scheduled for mobile portability.

    Then insert your MEO SIM card on an unlocked mobile phone. If that doesn't work, turn your mobile phone off and on again.
