It is the sole responsibility of customer the service in the course of their business activities customer apply for and pay, to the Portuguese Society of Authors (SPA) and other collective management organizations registered with the General Inspectorate of Cultural Activities, the licenses relating to the rights to perform musical and/or audiovisual works broadcast in public places, in accordance with the schedules and agreements/rates established by the aforementioned entities. Subscribing to SportTV channels without an associated promotional campaign implies a minimum stay period of 30 days (MEO fibre and MEO ADSL) and 180 days (MEO Satellite), unless otherwise stated. When subscribing to premium channels with a promotional campaign, a different minimum stay period applies, which is indicated in the conditions of the respective campaign.
In the event of cancellation of the subscription, with or without a promotional campaign, at the initiative of customer, during the minimum period of permanence, the service will remain active until the end of that period, with customer being obliged to pay in full the remaining amounts corresponding to the total value of the subscription to SportTV channels.
If customer terminates the existing contractual relationship with MEO, within the scope of a contract for the provision of electronic communications services that includes the television and multimedia service, it will be obliged to pay in full the amounts corresponding to the total value of the subscription to SportTV channels for the remainder of the minimum period of permanence.
