    2. SCART connection

      HDMI connection

If the problem isn't solved, try reversing the ends of the SCART/HDMI cable or replacing the cable with another one.

  • Satellite TV has no sound or poor sound quality

The tests below aim to help solve the problem by carrying out simple tests.

If there is no sound or the sound quality is poor in only one channel:

    • The problem might be with the program or the channel you're watching.
      1. Make sure the TV and the MEOBox are not muted or have no volume: press the Mute button or the volume button on the remote

      2. If that doesn't work, try turning up the volume using the TV remote or the buttons on the TV itself.

      3. If the TV is connected to any audio equipment, also check to make sure that the audio equipment is turned on and working properly, with all cables properly plugged in, or unplug them.

      4. If the problem persists, check to make sure the cables connecting the MEO Satélite devices are securely plugged in. Pay special attention to the SCART or HDMI cable connecting the MEOBox to the TV.

      5. Note: PACE MEOBoxes have 2 SCART ports; in these cases, plug the cable into the bottom port (preferably)

        SCART connection

        HDMI connection

      6. If the problem persists, try reversing the connectors or replacing the SCART or HDMI cable with another one

      7. If you continue to experience sound issues, unplug the MEOBox's power cord, plug it back in, and wait for the service to start.

      8. Also check the signal strength and the signal-to-noise ratio (C/N):
        • On the MEOBox Pace (Zapper 3, Zapper 4, DVR3, or DVR 4 models): Select channel 1 – RTP 2 and go to Menu > Settings > MEOBox > (PIN ) > Technical Information > Page 2/4.
