MEOBox technical support Android TV

  • I can't watch TV on MEO via the MEOBox Android r 4K TV

SITUATION 1: MEOBox is without lights

    Please check:

      1. If the MEOBox ON/OFF button is turned on (press it to the ON position)

      2. If the transformer is correctly connected to the MEOBox and the socket

      3. Test in another socket or without the power strip if it is in use.

If you still don't get an image when you connect the MEOBox, check it:

      1. Whether the TV is set to the correct HDMI channel

      2. If the HDMI or Scart cable is connected correctly

Note: we recommend that the connection between the MEOBox Android and the TV is made using an HBMI 2.0 cable.

SITUATION 2: MEOBox has lights on

If you are connected via WiFi, check that connection as well:

      1. go to Settings > Network and Internet > Connected to WiFi network

      2. Select Forget

      3. Reconnect to your home WiFi.

If you're connected by ethernet cable, check that the cable is correctly placed in the box and in the router.

If the problem persists, close the appby going to Settings > Apps > MEO > Force Stop. Then reopen the MEO app.

The first time you use it, see how to install and configure the MEOBox Android TV 4K. You can also consult the user guide.

SITUATION 3: When I open the MEO app, the screen goes blank for a few seconds and then returns to the menu Android

To resolve this issue, go to the operating system menu atAndroid (outside the MEO app) and remove the app's updates.
Go to Settings > Apps > APP > MEO > Uninstall Updates
After this step, we recommend that you go to the Google Play Store and update to the latest version.

  • MEOBox image and sound quality halts or deteriorates Android

The picture and sound settings for the MEOBox Android , and 4K TV—as well as the picture resolution and audio output selection—can be customized in Definitions > TV Definitions.

    Image problems
If you use a network cable connection (RJ 45), check that the connections between the TV, MEOBOx and router are correct. If everything is correct, then:
    • Connect the HDMI cable to another HDMI input on the TV or test with another HDMI cable
    • Try connecting another device, such as a console, to the same port on the TV where the MEOBox was connected Android.

If your connection is wireless (WiFi)
    • Check that you have BOX Android connected to your home network on 5GHz

    • Check the quality/intensity of the signal. The stronger the wireless signal, the better the connection.

If the signal is not good, re-orient or place BOX Android closer to the FibregateWay router. The MEOBox Android and the Fibregateway router should not be inside furniture with a door (even a glass one) or within 2m of each other.
If you have maximum network signal, turn the Fibregateway router off and on.
If it doesn't work, turn it off and on again at box.

Note: to get the best picture quality on customer and preserve WiFi bandwidth for other devices, you should connect the MEOBox to the router using an ethernet cable.

    Sound problems
For sound problems, check the sound settings on your MEOBox or TV Android.

Note:If you encounter the following error:Netflix Error: No Volume Control in Netflix (Dolby MS12 license required)
Please be aware that there is Netflix content on which the MEOBox volume control does not work. In these cases, you'll have to use the TV remote control to control the volume.

  • How to connect MEOBox Android TV via WiFi
