  • Windows 10 Operating System: How to connect to a wireless network

    To connect to a wireless network, click on the wireless networks symbol to open the window showing you the available networks.

    1. Select the network you want to connect to. If you want, keep the "Connect automatically" box checked so that the device will connect to the network automatically in the future.
    2. Enter the password of the wireless network you want to connect to. Alternatively, you can press the WPS button on your router and the connection will be established automatically
    3. When you see that you are connected to the wireless network, you can start browsing.

    • Search for a wireless network.
      To find wireless networks, click the icon on your system tray (in the lower-right corner of the screen, next to the clock) and select Connect to. If the icon isn't there, do the following:

      • If you have Windows 8:

      1. Press Windows + C and choose the option Settings
      2. Press the Wireless icon (make sure the network cable is disconnected)
      3. Make sure that the WiFi option is ON
      4. Choose the network you want to connect to and click on Connect

      If you haveWindows 7 or Windows Vista:

      1. Click on the Start button
      2. Click on Control Panel
      3. Click on Network and Sharing Center
      4. Click on Connect to a wireless network (or Connect to a wireless network/Wireless network connection).

      If you have Windows XP:

      1. Click on the Start button
      2. Click on Settings
      3. Click on Network Connections
      4. Click on Wireless Network Connection.

    • Choose your MEO wireless network
      Your MEO wireless network will appear in the list of networks. Select it and click Connect. If you don't know the name of your wireless network, go to my MEO and consult at Internet > Services > Wireless Internet at home or on my MEO on TV at Menu > customer > Fixed Internet. If you have already changed the name of your network, the new name will appear in this list. If your network name doesn't appear, click the update button.

    • Enter your password
      Enter your password in capital letters and click OK. If you haven't changed your network access password, you can find it on the underside of your router. If you are asked for a PIN instead of a password, look at what is indicated on the underside of the router, next to WIRELESS PIN, and click OK.

    • Go online at
      . Use your web browser to go online (for example, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox).

    • Search for wireless networks
      • Click on the WiFi icon and search for available wireless networks:
      1. If WiFi is inactive, select Turn WiFi on
      2. Select your network from the list of wireless networks displayed.

      If you don't know the name of your MEO wireless network, go to my MEO and go to Internet > Services > Wireless Internet at home or in my MEO on TV at Menu > customer > Fixed Internet.
      If you have already changed your network name, the new name will appear in this list. If your network name doesn't appear, click on the update button.

    • Enter your password
      Enter your password in all capital letters, select Remember this network and click on Access/Join. If you haven't changed your network password, you can find it on the underside of your MEO router.

    • Access the internet
      Use your browser to access the internet (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome or Firefox).

  • Operating System Android: How to connect to a wireless network

    1. Select the apps button and then choose Settings
    2. In Wireless and other networks, make sure WiFi is on and press WiFi

    3. Select the network you want to connect to
    4. Enter the password for the wireless network you want to connect to.

    When you see that you are connected to the wireless network, you can start browsing.
    Alternatively, after step 2, press the WPS button on the router and select the WPS connection icon on the device. The wireless network connection will be established automatically.

    1. Select Apps > WiFi and make sure WiFi is on
    2. Select the network you want to connect to
    3. Enter the WiFi network password
    4. When you see that you are connected to the wireless network, you can start browsing.
