Panda Antivirus

  • What is the Panda Antivirus service?

    It is a security software offering that protects equipment from online threats and dangers, ensuring safe web browsing and preventing equipment from being exposed to various dangers (malware, spyware, phishing, ramsomware, etc.). 


    It also allows you to take advantage of a range of features related to user security, such as parental control, WiFi protection, file encryption and password management, etc. This offer is provided in partnership with Panda Security and is available for PC (Windows) and smartphone/Tablet (Android). Each license purchased can be used on a PC and Smartphone/tablet. 


    The service will be provided through Panda licenses, which will remain valid for as long as your MEO service is active and billed. Antivirus appears on the MEO bundle bill, in the internet section.

  • Subscribe to Panda Antivirus

    In order to have the antivirus service, you need to have Fixed Internet in your MEO bundle .

    To subscribe, log in to your account at customer my MEO :

    • Choose the security solution you'd like to subscribe to, and complete the sign-up process by entering your email address.
    • An email will be sent with the activation code and instructions for installing the software.

  • How to Install Panda Antivirus

    How to install on a PC:

    After completing the sign-up processat customer my MEO, download the software from the email you received. You will be redirected to the Panda website, where you can complete the process.

    If you have another antivirus program installed, you may need to remove it. Windows will notify you if the other program is incompatible and will provide instructions for uninstalling it. (You can uninstall it manually from: Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs).


    How to install antivirus software on a computer Android :
    1. Go to Google Play and download the Panda Dome Antivirus app
    2. Once the installation is complete, open the app and follow the steps.
    3. Create a Panda account
    4. Enter the activation code, which is available in the " customer " section atmy MEO and was sent to you in the service's welcome email.
    5. To enable the Anti-Theft feature, make sure you have a Panda account at https://myaccount.pandasecurity.com

    How to install antivirus software on an iOS device:
    1. Create a Panda account on the Panda website.
    2. Click “Add Product” and enter the activation code in My Panda. Please note that this activation code is available in the “ customer ” section atmy MEO and was sent to you in the service’s welcome email.
    3. Follow the steps in My Panda to set up the service
    4. To enable the Anti-Theft feature, make sure you have a Panda account at https://myaccount.pandasecurity.com

  • How can I manage the service and consult information?

    In the customer my MEO section, under the Antivirus option, you can:

    • Join new Panda Antivirus services
    • Consult the keys of your subscribed Panda Antivirus services

    Antivirus service management is available in the " customer " section of Panda.
    To manage the parental control, anti-theft, and dark web scanner services, you must have already created an account.

  • How can I learn more about using the software?

    You can review the terms and conditions document, which is available in your customer account or on the Panda Security website, where you'll find all the features of the Panda bundle subscription.

  • I can't log in

    Go to login page and select the ""Did you forget your password or email address?".

    If you're trying to log in with SAPO, Google, or Facebook, each of these sites provides instructions on how to reset your password. Please follow the steps provided.

    If the problem persists, call support lines (see the plan), or, if you are customer MEO Empresas , use the Support Line MEO Empresas (see plan).

  • I can't install the software you sent me

    Call the Sou Smart Hotline – For technical support, or if you're using customer MEO Empresas , call 16203 (IT Support – Technical Assistance – see the plan).

  • I've installed the software but the activation key doesn't validate my product on my PC or Smartphone.

    • Ensure you have an Internet connection
    • Ensure that you are not connected to a company network cable (sometimes certain proxies prevent key validation).
    • Ensure that you are entering the key correctly (check that you have entered capital letters correctly, as the key is case-sensitive).
    • If the problem persists, please call support lines (see the plan) and request a new key. If you are using customer orMEO Empresas, use the Support Line at MEO Empresas (see plan).

  • Do I need to create a Panda account to activate the antivirus?

    It is not necessary, but if you want to enable the anti-theft feature on your smartphone, you will need to do so. You must go to the Panda Security website, log in, and enable this feature.

  • Where can I find details of all the Antivirus service settings?

    You can consult the software user manuals in your customer portal at customer my MEO or on the Panda Security website. If you are a customer MEO Empresas , use the customer portal at customer MEO Empresas(Large Enterprises).
