  • What is the Net Sharing service?

    These are two separate cards associated with the same number. The second card has the same usage limits as the primary card and can be used on an additional device (tablet, smartphone, or PC) without needing to obtain another number or plan. The data allowance for mobile phone or net for PC/Tablet from plan can be used on both cards simultaneously. 
  • Who can have the Net Sharing service?

    The Net Sharing service is available on MEO and MEO Empresas postpaid plans (excluding plan IoT and zero-broadband plans).
    This service is not available for MOCHE and UZO brand tariffs.
  • How can you join the Net Sharing service?

    You can join:

    • On the app my MEO or at customer my MEO  

    • Ata MEO store—the service is activated the same day.

    • On the support lines  MEO (see the plan) or support lines MEO Empresas (see plan) – the card will be mailed to your address. When you receive the SIM card, activate the Net Sharing service in the customer my MEO or via text.

    Enable in the app my MEO:

    • Select the " Services " option from the app menu
    • Select the mobile phone pay-monthly or Net Móvelon the selected account
    • Select " See All" in the "More" section to explore 
    • Select the "Internet Sharing" option
    • Click " Enable Service"
    • Enter the last 10 digits of your card and click "Confirm"
    • You will receive a notification as soon as the status is updated.



    In the the customer my MEO > selectServicesfrom the menu > choose mobile phone pay-monthly or mobile datain the selected account > in the Data Sharing Card section, selectShare Data > enter the last 10 digits of the card and click Activate > You will receive a confirmation message in your inbox. From that point on, you can use the service.


    How to activate via text:

    1. Send an e text tion of your primary card—the one you want to link to the Net Sharing card—to the number 1111
    2. On the web text , type the word ACTIVATE followed by a space and the last 10 digits of your card number SIM or eSIM
    3. Wait for the activation text

  • What is the limit on the number of devices I can connect with the same number in the Net Sharing service?

    2 devices at the same time. For example, an M4 mobile phone SIM card with the Data Sharing service enabled can have a second SIM card in a tablet device and share the data allowance at the same time.
  • Can I use Net Share cards in two voice devices?

    If you choose to use the SIM cards in two devices that support voice calls—such as smartphones—only the main (initial or primary) SIM card will receive voice calls (including text, MMS, and video calls).
  • How to check the " PIN " and PUK for the Partilha de Net card (SIM or eSIM)

    Simply send text with the texts PIN, PUK or PINPUK from the main card to the number 1111, and you will receive a reply via the same number.


    You can also check your customer account atmy MEOorPIN for the PUK codes for your main card and your Net Sharing card:



  • How is consumption by the two devices detailed in the Net Sharing service?

    Usage of the voice and data allowances for the subscribed “ mobile phone ” or “net para PC/Tablet ” plan from plan is consolidated on the primary card. If you prefer to receive a bill with communication details, the breakdown will include traffic from both cards without distinction, as if the traffic had been generated by only one card.
  • Using the Net Sharing service outside of Portugal

    This service can be used abroad and the traffic used is billed according to plan Net at roaming.

     


  • What happens if the card selected to receive communications is temporarily unavailable in the Net Sharing service?


    Communications will not be redirected to the second card.
  • Is there a minimum length of stay after activating the Net Sharing service?

    You can deactivate the service after 30 days from the date of activation.
  • What is the Sou Smart Line and how to use it

    The Sou Smart Hotline is a technical support hotline for all types of devices. With this service, available to MEO “ customers ,” you can resolve issues or questions related to your devices without leaving home, at any time of day. The service is available 24 hours a day, every day. Call the hotline Sou Smart - Technical Support (see the plan).

    When you first contact us, you will need to provide us with your landline or mobile telephone number, or another element that allows us to identify that you are a MEO customer . For more information, see the service conditions and the Total Support general conditions.

  • Sou Smart Line costs

    The work carried out by pcmedic technicians at your home or in pcmedic labouratories may incur a cost, as may the equipment provided. In any case, you will always receive an estimate in advance. If it is necessary for a technician to come to your home, a travel fee will apply.
