  • Advantages of taking back my used mobile phone from MEO

    MEO has a wide range of products at the best prices. By handing in your used mobile phone to MEO, you can buy a new device at a lower price and ensure that the destination of your mobile phone will contribute to preserving the environment and reducing waste.

  • How much is my used mobile phone worth 

    The trade-in value depends on the device’s condition, brand, and model. This value is determined by MEO’s partners who specialize in equipment recycling. Visit an MEO storeto find out the value of your mobile phone or use the simulator to get an idea of its potential value.
    In the store, some of the features, aesthetics/damage and wear and tear will be assessed. This assessment takes an average of 15 minutes.

  • Where can I buy back my used mobile phone ? 

    Your used mobile phone can be dropped off at any MEO store.

  • When and how can I use the trade-in value of a used mobile phone ?

    The trade-in of used equipment must be completed at the time of purchase of the new equipment, exclusively at a MEO Store (the online store is excluded from the trade-in promotion).
    You can buy any new equipment from the MEO portfolio (except household appliances and solar panels). The new purchase must be made at the time of the trade-in and be equal to or greater than the trade-in value of the used equipment.

    It is not possible to return used equipment once it has been taken back.

  • Which devices can be traded in? 

    They can be turned in for trade-in at mobile phones and tablets , with the option to add a SIM SIM card listed in MEO’s used device simulator.

    All you have to do is hand over the device (no box or charger required).

  • What happens to my personal data and information

    When returning used equipment, you must delete all personal files and data and remove any SIM cards. 
    MEO is not responsible for any data left on the equipment.

  • Who am I selling my used mobile phone to? 

    The used mobile phone is bought by a MEO partner who specializes in recycling equipment.

  • Where does the used mobile phone go? 

    Used mobile phones are evaluated and then reconditioned or recycled, whichever has the least environmental impact in each case.
