  • What is Promo Spot, and what are its benefits?

    Promo Spot is a premier communication channel with a broad audience of thousands of registered users. Easy to use and cost-effective, this service opens the door to increased sales. 

    With Promo Spot, you can:
    • Schedule the sending of e text s and MMS messages
    • Segment recipients by age, gender, areas of interest, and place of residence
    • Set the sender's name based on the product/event/company. View message history. Receive delivery reports.

    Promo Spot has thousands of users who have signed up to receive advertising messages. 
    It is a direct, interactive, effective, and efficient means of communication:

  • How do I use Promo Spot?

    To use Promo Spot, all you need is a computer with internet access; open the Promo Spot app and enter your username and password.

    Then just write your message—up to 160 characters. Promo Spot only allows you to send one text with a maximum of 160 characters.

    You can use up to 11 characters in the "From" field.


    The Promo Spot database is segmented by the characteristics of the recipients and the categories of the mailings (health, fashion and beauty, technology, cars and motorcycles, among others). 

    If you send MMS messages to your entire contact list, the messages will be sent only to those at customers who have this service enabled.


    The user limit for PromoSpot is one administrator and 10 users without administrator privileges.










  • How many customers s are registered in the Promo Spot database?

    The number of registered customers varies daily; currently, the database contains more than 650,000 customers.

    It is not possible to know who the recipients of Promo Spot messages are. Promo Spot users do not know the identities of the people to whom they are sending messages. The Promo Spot database is segmented based on recipient characteristics and the classification of the messages (health, fashion and beauty, technology, cars and motorcycles, among others).
    If you send MMS messages to the entire subscriber base, the MMS messages will be sent only to those customers users who have this service enabled.


  • How much does the Promo Spot service cost, and what are its terms and conditions?

    There are no monthly fees or loyalty program requirements associated with this service. customer only charges you when you use the service.


    To sign up for MEO Promo Spot, open thePromo Spot appand register online.

    If you sign up with the help of your manager at customer, after submitting the completed form, you will receive your username and password to access the application.

  • How can I recover my password for the Promo Spot app?

    You can reset your password by entering your username on the service page and selecting the "Reset Password" option. The password will be sent to the e mobile phone associated with that username.
