Adolfo Mesquita Nunes is a partner in Public Law and Regulation at Pérez-Llorca in Portugal. With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in public policy, public procurement, and administrative litigation, with extensive experience in public contracts (both in pre-contractual phases and in the execution of public contracts representing public entities and private companies), and has represented various public authorities and private entities in administrative litigation. 

In recent years, he has focused on highly regulated sectors, where regulation is either a restrictive element or a driver of business models. He has been particularly active in the transport, electric mobility, and electronic platforms sectors, assisting customers identifying opportunities for expansion into new products and markets.

Adolfo Mesquita Nunes was Secretary of State for Tourism in the 19th and 20th Constitutional Governments of Portugal. Currently, Adolfo Mesquita Nunes is an independent non-executive director and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Galp Energia, a member of the arbitration panel of the Administrative Arbitration Center (CAAD), and Chairman of the World Trade Center Lisbon Business Club for smart cities.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lusíada University in Porto, complemented by an Executive MBA from the Catholic University of Porto. He has completed several executive training courses, both nationally and internationally, notably the Advanced Management Program at Kellogg School of Management and the Continental Executive Development Program at London Business School.

He currently serves as Managing Director of Continental Advanced Antenna Portugal. At the same time, he serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of AEP, Administrator of the AEP Foundation, Administrator of Mobinov (Portuguese Automotive Cluster), and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Commercial Arbitration Institute.

At the academic level, he maintains ties with the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro as a co-opted member of the General Council, where he taught as a guest lecturer from 2018 to 2021. In the past, he served as Chairman of the Advisory Board of AEP (2020-2023), Vice-President of Regia-Douro Park (2020-2023), Municipal Deputy (2009-2013 / 2017-2021), and President of the Academic Federation of Porto (1999).

Jorge Miguel Sousa graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (specializing in Automation) in 2001, obtained a postgraduate degree in Communication and Network Services from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in 2007, and a Master's degree in Economics and Innovation Management from the Faculty of Economics of Porto in 2012.

In 2001, he joined PT Inovação as a member of the team responsible for developing solutions for Smart Networks products. He is responsible for the Business Communication area at Altice Labs, coordinating the development of the following products: Smart2M - Connectivity Management, BOTSchool - Conversational AI Platform, and ABC - Advanced Business Communication Unified Communication solution.
