What do I need to access MEO's 5G?
To access MEO's 5G, you just need to be in an area with 5G coverage and use compatible equipment, such as a
5G smartphone or an iPhone with 5G support. All
MEO tariffs are compatible with this technology, allowing you to take advantage of higher speeds, lower latency, and more reliable connections throughout the country, including Madeira and the Azores.
How do I sign up for 5G+ network slicing?
You can sign up for the MEO Priority Pass service, powered by 5G+, for €10/month by texting the word MENSAL to text at 12355. Once activated, you’ll enjoy priority access to the mobile network through MEO’s 5G+ Network Slicing technology.
What is 5G technology?
5G technology is the evolution of the mobile network to the 5th generation.
