1. Select the "customer" option.
2. Select the "my MEO" option and then "Billing."
3. Indicate the name of the account holder and the corresponding IBAN.
4. Select "Activate" to finalize the order.

How can you sign up for MEO's direct debit service?

You can sign up for MEO’s direct debit service through the customer Area or the my MEO app. All you need to do is provide your IBAN and authorize the automatic debit so that your bills are paid by the due date.

What are the benefits of paying your MEO bill via direct debit?

By paying your MEO bill via direct debit, you avoid forgetting to pay or missing payment deadlines. The amount is automatically debited from your bank account on the due date indicated on the bill, ensuring that your service remains active without interruption. Additionally, this is the safest payment method, as you always have the right to request a refund: up to 8 weeks if you disagree with the amount charged, or up to 13 months if the charge was not authorized or was processed incorrectly.

Does MEO Direct Debit have any fees?

No. Signing up for direct debit to pay your MEO bills is free and involves no additional costs.

When is your MEO bill charged to your account?

The amount of your MEO bill will be automatically debited from your bank account on the due date indicated on the bill.

How can you change the IBAN for your MEO direct debit?

You can change the IBAN associated with your MEO direct debit at any time in the customer Area customer on the my MEO app. After making the change, future payments will be debited from the new account.

Can I cancel my MEO direct debit?

You can cancel your MEO direct debit in the customer Area, in the my MEO app, at an ATM, or through your bank. After that, you can continue to pay your bills using other available payment methods.

What happens if the MEO direct debit fails?

If we are unable to process the direct debit (for example, due to insufficient funds in your account), you will receive a notification asking you to pay the bill using another available payment method.

Is it safe to pay my MEO bill via direct debit?

Sim. Direct debit is a secure payment method. You will always receive the invoice before the payment is processed, and if there is an error in the amount charged, you can request a review or refund from your bank.
