Free sunscreen at the Zoo

This summer, MEO, the MEO Foundation and Garnier Ambre Solaire are raising awareness of responsible sun exposure at the Lisbon Zoo, providing free sunscreen during the hottest months.

The dispensers will be located at two strategic points: one in the entrance area, next to the lockers, and the other in the MEO Savannah. This initiative aims to take care of the health of all visitors, while promoting the reduction of cream and plastic waste, transforming an individual consumer good into a service accessible to all, with respect for safety standards, hygiene and the environment.

The 23 beaches we visited in 2024

In an action that took place over a month, a pedal-operated dispenser with SPF 50+ sunscreen, hypoallergenic and committed to the ocean, was placed on each beach.
