Jasil | MEO Empresas

A reference in metalworking from Portugal to the world

Starting to export in 1986, Jasil's main focus today is the internationalization of its business. "Exports account for 85 to 90% of our business. We have a strong presence in Central Europe and our main markets are France, Germany and the Netherlands, not forgetting Spain," explains the company's CEO.

With a production area of around five thousand square meters, divided into four buildings, the construction of new facilities is one of Jasil's current ambitions. "We have already acquired a plot of land in the Oleiros Industrial Park, in the municipality of Vila Verde, where we plan to install a 15,000 square meter factory, which will take our production capacity and our commitment to excellence to a new level," says Luís Oliveira. At the moment it is mainly dedicated to "the production of small and medium-sized TV shows", but this new factory will also allow Jasil to "cater for larger TV shows", explains the company leader.

Presenting itself as a modern company, committed to staying at the cutting edge of technology, Jasil is also proud to "integrate projects in partnership with universities, namely in the area of quality control", and to "continuously invest in the training of our human resources", stresses Luís Oliveira. For the "technological leap" it will make with the construction of the new factory, Jasil is also counting on the support of MEO Empresas, "with whom we have been partners for many years".

"In our new facilities we intend to implement a state-of-the-art internal communications system, taking advantage of the new potential of 5G, and we are counting on the contribution of Meo Empresas to achieve this goal," concludes the company leader.
