With this as a starting point, MEO Empresas is launching a campaign that invites the Portuguese to relive their fondest Christmas memories.
The aim is to lead people to small businesses which, by calling each customer by its name and asking if it's going to be the usual one, play an essential role in the cohesion of the communities in which they operate and show that they are, after all, big businesses.

As a partner of traditional commerce, this campaign not only demonstrates its support, but also aims to enhance the feeling of closeness and familiarity that characterizes this time of year.
With 230 small businesses participating, from the north to the south of the country and on the islands, the brand is once again putting technology at people's service. Those who visit MEO stores will be invited to get to know them and do their shopping nearby.
Using geo-referencing, the campaign is customized with specific messages for the businesses in that neighborhood, street, village or city where they will be displayed:
- In the windows and digital posters of MEO stores, directions will be given to products and establishments in that region, making it easier for the Portuguese to find local businesses;
- On the digital side, the www.meoempresas.pt will have a landing page dedicated to the campaign, highlighting short stories from some of these businesses and videos with testimonials from small traders.
