With this as a starting point, MEO Empresas is launching a campaign that invites the Portuguese to relive their fondest Christmas memories.
The aim is to lead people to small businesses that, by calling each customer by name and asking if it's going to be business as usual, play an essential role in the cohesion of the communities in which they operate and show that they are, after all, big businesses.
MEO Empresas is keen to be on the side of these small businesses.
As a partner of traditional commerce, with this campaign, as well as showing its support, the brand aims to boost the feeling of closeness and familiarity that characterizes this time of year.
With 230 small businesses participating, from the north to the south of the country and on the islands, the brand is once again putting technology at people's service. Those who visit MEO stores will be invited to get to know them and do their shopping nearby.
Using geo-referencing, the campaign is customized with specific messages for the shops in that neighbourhood, street, village or city where they will be displayed:
- In the windows and on the digital posters of MEO stores, directions will be given to products and establishments in that region, making it easier for the Portuguese to go to local businesses;
- On the digital side, the website www.meoempresas.pt will have a landing page dedicated to the campaign, highlighting short stories about some of these businesses and videos with testimonials from small traders.
